BEIJING -- Following is the agenda for the Fifth Session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) on Wednesday.
-- At 9 a.m., the fourth meeting of the Presidium of the NPC session will be held.
-- At 10 a.m., NPC deputies will hold the closing meeting of the annual session in the Great Hall of the People.
The deputies will vote on the following documents:
-- the government work report;
-- the report on the implementation of the 2011 plan for national economic and social development and on the draft 2012 plan for national economic and social development;
-- the report on the implementation of the central and local budgets for 2011 and on the draft central and local budgets for 2012;
-- the draft amendment to the Criminal Procedure Law;
-- the draft decision on the election of deputies to the 12th NPC;
-- the draft method for the election of deputies to the 12th NPC from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR);
-- the draft method for the election of deputies to the 12th NPC from the Macao SAR;
-- the work report of the NPC Standing Committee;
-- the work report of the Supreme People's Court;
-- the work report of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
After the closing meeting, Premier Wen Jiabao will meet the press.
