商貿(mào)金融中心　

　　武漢一直是長江中游的商貿(mào)金融中心，歷史上流傳著“貨到漢口活”的說法。明末清初，漢口就躋身全國四大名鎮(zhèn)之列，成為“楚中第一繁盛處”。上個(gè)世紀(jì)初，漢口一度成為中國第二大對外通商口岸，中國四大金融中心之一。今天，這座商家必爭之地仍然商賈云集，千街熙攘。目前，全市擁有商業(yè)網(wǎng)點(diǎn)12萬余個(gè)，有3家商業(yè)企業(yè)躋身全國連鎖經(jīng)營企業(yè)30強(qiáng)行列，全市社會消費(fèi)品零售總額突破千億元大關(guān)。法國“家樂�！�、德國“麥德龍”、美國“沃爾瑪”等國際零售商業(yè)巨頭相繼進(jìn)入武漢，推動(dòng)了武漢商業(yè)貿(mào)易發(fā)展。武漢金融、證卷交易同樣活躍，中國人民銀行和一批國有商業(yè)銀行在武漢建立了區(qū)域性的機(jī)構(gòu)，法國興業(yè)銀行在漢設(shè)立了分行，10多家外國銀行和保險(xiǎn)公司在武漢設(shè)立了辦事機(jī)構(gòu)。

The city'stotal retail sales of consumer goods surpassed 100 billion RMB yuan.A number of international retail giants including Carrefour of France.Metro of Germany and Wal-Mart of the United States have set up operations in Wuhan one after another and gives great momentum to the loval retail sector.Wuhan'sfinancial sector andother state-owned commercial banks estabilshed regional headquarters in the city. Societe Generale of France has opened its branch band and dozens of other foreign banks and insurers have their ropresentative offices in Wuhan.
